Is āGRIDSERVEā an acronym? Have been wondering for a while as itās always capitalised
I donāt think so. I suspect itās just about trying to reinforce brand recognition etc
Lots of āholesā in the coverage map to fill in, but itās great to see the speed of replacement of chargers already swapped out. Should make a huge difference this year.
My main concern is that 6 chargers isnāt really enough, and even 12 might not be enough before too long.
Hopefully everyone involved is building in the necessary spare capacity to expand these hubs as and when required.

ONTO vehicles will simply be set up on Autocharge! Itāll be like owning a Tesla with free SuC Access for life!

Wish theyād fix burtonwood (M62 J8), both chargers there have been totally offline for over a year.

It sure would be amazing to have them too.
That was what I was told by Toddington Harper, Gridserve CEO. Itāll either be another card, or they may join the other networks that work with the Shell Card that we already have. Another possibility is that they will simply enable Autocharge on our vehicles and then invoice ONTO directly.

Well if we do get the gridserve electric highway that pretty much secures me as a permanent customer (currently Kona) and may even not bother renewing my Motability Ioniq and getting second EV from Onto! Hurry up Gridserve, seal the deal! Looking forward to hopefully have a ID3 Family Pro in September and Gridserve charging fingers crossed! Then itās the Ioniq 5 to ponder and hopeā¦. Good times indeed.
