I have now for a few weeks been trying to book an i3, as and when they magically appear on the availability list (not often).
I have just hung up (due to work calls) from being on hold for 45 minutes on the 0800 number to try and address the above error. This is now the 4th call to on.to I have made regarding this over the past few weeks. Apparently originally it was due to my original application having been ‘parked’ and the checks had not been completed, however I have now been on further calls twice with on.to over the past couple of weeks where they have assured me there should be no reason why I now cannot book online, each time, by the time I am able to call (usually later in the day) the car is then no longer available either.
I don’t know if this message means the car actually isn’t available or what else it could be? I don’t want a different vehicle since I have already been able to try a Zoe elsewhere (well I might be tempted to try an I-Pace but apparently “not available” in my area so I can’t even get as far as the booking button - but at least it’s clear that’s an availability issue. )
This error only happens on (what I presume is) the final “confirm and book” button so I don’t want to try it on a vehicle I don’t want. I just wondered if anyone else has had this error so I can understand if its a car issue or my profile.
I am starting to lose the will to persevere with it! On.to CS have always been friendly and helpful but the fact remains I am still not able to book an i3 with them, even when it shows as available.
Of course I accept I’ll have to call up again most likely - but I just wondered if anyone here has had the same error and has any insight.
