I have a Tesla Being delivered tomorrow, just had a call to say the original colour I ordered is now not available so I’ve had to have another colour , but annoying as it’s the 3rd car from onto that I’ve had to have a different colour in , I feel like maybe should get a slight refund due to this maybe I’m being a bit dramatic just a bit annoying
At least a car is coming
It just means the car was being prepped by the logistics company and failed to pass some checks, hence the colour swap.
It’s a pain if you really don’t like some colours, but at least you get the same make/model of car.
I get that , just a bit annoying when it’s happened for the last three cars too

Out of interest over what time period is this and what cars were involved?
The assumption is all the cars have come from the same logistics depot, which kinda points to an issue at that depot.

Yeah. I have had that happen once now. Not a huge deal - for me - as I am back to a car/colour combo I particularly like.
But it’s probably a bit of a struggle at times with the pressure to get everything right. Just a surprise that it’s happening three times. Yin and Yang suggests that’s about enough before the cards fall a better way

As you mentioned this is usually down to an issue or fault being found on the vehicle. I would presume the vehicles have all come from the same depot as the booking tool finds cars in your closest depot when you book.
I’ll get this fed back to our logistics team so they can investigate this, as this shouldn’t be happening all of the time so may potentially indicate something at the depot we aren’t aware of
It’ll be honest it has been 3 different cars , My first Tesla , a Hyundai and Another Tesla , every time I’ve been called day before to say the colour I ordered had a issue , not a massive deal I know just annoying but at least the car is coming

Wasn’t quite expecting to be pulled over on way home to be told it wasn’t insured but quick call to onto and a insurance certificate and was all sorted

It looks like the insurance query was due to a delay with the motor insurance database reflecting the car was insured, however you’ve done the right thing presenting the insurance certificate and this is now being sorted out. Apologies for any confusion!

Just a quick one , how long roughly does it take to show as insured the police that stopped me told me to check in a few days and it still shows not insured
@barnestony199 this should show straight away on the MID usually, however I’ve raised this internally so our insurer can identify and rectify the issue.
Rest assured the vehicles are insured, this is likely an admin error.
I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused, I’d recommend keeping a copy of the insurance certificate and our number to hand should you need to provide any information.
This will be rectified as soon as possible

I’ve printed the certificate sent to me by your selves and my hire agreement my concern is just if it’s a weekend or bank holiday then if they can’t get hold of someone from yourselves it might cause a issue

I’ve had the car since Wednesday and it still doesn’t , been pulled 3 times literally once a day slightly irritating
Just wondered if any update to this , car still shows uninsured , if been stopped 3 times , haven’t driven it over this bank holiday weekend as I’m worried if I’m stopped will there be anyone who can confirm the insurance , I’ve had the car since Wednesday surely it can’t be right
Very odd, maybe the insurance db has an issue, or lack of staff to update timely.
I agree strange but also slightly annoying , I accept the fact I’ve been told it’s insured but what if I get stopped and there is no way for the police to check for example a Sunday or bank holiday , I’ve never waited this long or had to check the mid this many times
@barnestony199 apologies for the delay with this. Our ops team have already raised this to our insurer to check what’s going on.
The car is insured, however we’re awaiting their rectification and explanation as to what’s happening with the MID. The police can check with the insurance company at any point should they need to.
I will ensure we reach out directly once this is sorted to discuss further with you. But we’ll be looking to escalate this tomorrow should we not have a response by then.
