I’m thinking of upgrading from my peugeot e-2008 to a tesla model 3 soon,just been reading somewhere that onto are doing credit checks now is this for real if your already a subscriber.
Only for new customers is what we all understand…
But I am sure they reserve the right to do affordability checks etc as part of the insurance process…

I have a soft credit check from Onto in July and December, so definitely not just new customers.

My lease ends soon and was going to return to onto but I definitely won’t pass a credit check or an affordability check due to being a kept housewife

Your other half can sign up and then add you as a named driver. That way he’s the one who would be undergoing the affordability check.
